Hanover Memorial Park Cemetery is family-owned and operated by Sydnie and Brett Richardson, both of whom were raised in Hanover County and are proud to serve the community they have always called home. As local owners, they are personally committed to preserving the cemetery as a peaceful, respectful, and well-maintained place of remembrance for generations to come.

Sydnie manages family appointments, cemetery records, pre-planning, memorial arrangements, and daily office operations. Brett oversees the grounds, equipment, and cemetery maintenance. Together, they work to ensure that every family receives personal attention, compassionate service, and dependable assistance during both immediate need and advance planning.

 Families are provided with clear information and thoughtful guidance so they can make decisions based on their individual needs, preferences, and budget.

Office visits are available by appointment, allowing us to provide each family with dedicated time and personal attention.

In accordance with Virginia law, a required portion of receipts from the sale of graves, above-ground crypts, and niches is deposited into the Perpetual Care Trust Fund. These funds are used solely for the care, maintenance, and preservation of the cemetery grounds to ensure the cemetery remains beautiful for future generations.
