MEET THE OWNERS

Hanover Memorial Park Cemetery is proudly family-owned and operated by Sydnie and Brett Richardson. Both were raised in Hanover County graduated Atlee High School together in 2005.  They  are grateful for the opportunity to serve the same community they have always called home. Their local roots are an important part of how they approach the cemetery—with a personal commitment to preserving it as a peaceful, respectful, and well-maintained place for families to visit, remember, and honor their loved ones for generations to come.

Sydnie manages family appointments, cemetery records, pre-planning arrangements, memorial selections, contracts, and  office operations. She works directly with families to answer questions, explain available options, and help make both advance planning and at-need arrangements as clear and comfortable as possible.

Brett oversees the cemetery grounds, equipment, maintenance, and day-to-day care of the property. His work helps ensure that Hanover Memorial Park continues to provide the quiet, country setting and well-maintained grounds that families expect when visiting their loved ones.

Together, Sydnie and Brett take a hands-on approach to operating Hanover Memorial Park. Families are not simply working with a large company or sales office—they are working directly with the people responsible for the cemetery and the continued care. Hanover Memorial Park does not operate on commissioned sales, allowing families to receive information and guidance without pressure to purchase more than what is appropriate for their needs.

Their goal is to provide compassionate, dependable service while maintaining the personal atmosphere of a locally owned cemetery. Whether a family is planning ahead, making arrangements following a loss, selecting a memorial, or simply has questions about the cemetery, Sydnie and Brett are committed to being available to help and to treating each family with respect and individual attention.
